We are a husband and wife team, who met in architecture school, and have been working together as Array Design for over 20 years. We strive to understand our clients' needs, and incorporate them into a well thought out, functional and pleasing design.

Susanne was born in Budapest, Hungary and moved to Los Angeles when she was a young child with her family, where she lives today with Doug and their 2 children. She graduated from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCi-Arc), in 1997, with a 5 year professional degree in Architecture. She brings her unique perspective of being a mom, a wife, and running a household as well as a business, to understanding the busy lifestyles of her clients.

Doug is a native Angeleno. He graduated from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCi-Arc), in 1997, with a 5 year professional degree in Architecture. He taught Architecture Studio at Woodbury University for several years.  He also enjoys making furniture, woodworking and metal working. He understands that what makes a house a home, are the details and elements of design that reflect his clients’ lifestyle.

We specialize in residential design and enjoy giving our clients not just a house that works, but a house that works well for them at any stage in their life and with an eye toward the future. We have also done some commercial work, including restaurant remodels, medical offices and sports facilities.  Whatever your project might be, we look forward to working with you in building your dreams.
